When Waylon Sims founded his electrical business, he based it on values of trust, excellence and integrity. These values continue to guide the Prowire team in the way they do business today. They stake their reputation on getting the job done right, the first time. From designing, installing,commissioning and proactively maintaining electrical distribution systems, our training and low voltage services to setting up data and security systems, we won’t sacrifice integrity even if it costs us money.Waylon recalls being told when he was starting out: ”In the electrical industry the customer can’t see the current flowing, or the voltage at a point. They only judge the job on how it looks, the quality of the workmanship, and its functionality. ” This hold true today. A basic principle at Prowire is one that they like to call “the next person approach”, where staff are encouraged to think like they’ll be working on that same equipment in the future, in the middle of the night, during a breakdown.They are trained to make it easy for the next guy. This can be as simple as extra labels or a service loop on a termination, through to suggestions of engineered solutions to make any future work easier.All this leads to less down time in machinery, and more efficient production for the customer.Prowire aims to bring quality back into the industry, at a competitive price.

We train our employees to safely perform de-energized and energized maintenance work, conduct arc flash awareness, identify the hazards and remove the risk. We want everyone to work safe and everyone to go home, safety is our key value with no safety there is no job.

Meet Our Founder
Waylon has been working in the electrical industry since the commencement of his apprenticeship with LK Services in 2007, the electrical knowledge draws back from family history in the industrial electrical trade with these skillsets still taught to Prowire’s up and coming apprentices today. Waylon is passionate about high performance team culture and engineering to provide simplified solutions. struggling with mediocrity and always believing that things can be done better.
